Shhh... don't wake the babies! 😴 Even in their sleep, these little ones are melting our hearts. Just look at this peaceful bunch, all snuggled up and dreaming sweet puppy dreams. And did you see that little twitch? One of them is definitely having an adventure in dreamland! ✨

It's moments like these that make all the hard work worthwhile. Knowing that we're providing a safe and cozy haven for these pups to grow and thrive fills our hearts with joy. Soon, they'll be off to their forever homes, but for now, we'll cherish every snuggle and every dream.

One week strong! 💪 Just a quick update on our incredible litter of Labrador mix puppies! As you may remember from our previous post (scroll down to catch up if you missed it!), these little ones had a very rough start. Born on May 28th, they tragically lost their mother's care and required immediate, intensive neonatal care.

They're now thriving on a standard heating pad, snuggling together for warmth, and gaining weight like absolute champions. It's truly heartwarming to witness their resilience.

As an independent rescuer, taking on a litter of newborns is incredibly demanding, but seeing them overcome such adversity makes it all worthwhile. The dedication and round-the-clock care are paying off!

Looking ahead, we're starting to think about their future. While they're still too young for adoption, we'll soon be seeking dedicated foster homes to provide them with individualized attention as they grow. We're especially looking for a foster home with experience (or a willingness to learn) about caring for a female dog who will need extra help and attention as she grows.

Our hearts are breaking for these tiny fighters. 💔 Eight newborn Labrador mix puppies (born May 28th) are now in our care after tragically losing their mom. We lost two, and the rest are so fragile.

Imagine feeding every 2-3 hours, constant warmth, and mimicking mom's care. It's exhausting, but we won't give up.

Good news: They're gaining weight and feeding better! It's a miracle to see their little spirits.
